Nonviolent Communication in Intimate Relationships
with Ian Peatey and Tomáš Čejchan

About the Workshop

This two-day workshop is designed as a shared journey rather than a collection of separate techniques.

At the beginning of the workshop, each participant chooses one real relationship from their own life and identifies one recurring challenge connected with it. Throughout the two days, we keep returning to this relationship, exploring it from different perspectives and gradually discovering new possibilities for understanding and growth.

Our intention is that you leave not only with fresh insights, but also with a renewed vision for that relationship and one concrete next step to take.

The Opening Framework — Four Experiments

We begin the workshop with four thought-provoking invitations. These are not truths to be learned or rules to follow. Instead, they are experiments that we return to throughout the two days—an invitation to temporarily set aside your doubts and live as if each statement were true.

Take 100% responsibility for the relationship you want to create.
(Inspired by Miki Kashtan and Albert Ellis.)

Choose connection over being right.
"Would you rather be right, or would you rather be happy?"
— Marshall Rosenberg

Meet your partner with fresh eyes.
What if today were the very first time you met them?

The quality of your conversations determines the quality of your relationships. The quality of your relationships determines the quality of your life.

What You Will Take Away from the Workshop

  • A clearer vision for a relationship that truly matters to you—not just a list of its problems.
  • Practical experience with deep listening and authentic self-expression.
  • A concrete shift in taking responsibility for the relationship, without waiting for the other person to change.
  • One meaningful conversation and one concrete next step to carry into your everyday life.

This workshop is designed for individuals who wish to deepen and transform an important relationship in their lives—whether with a partner, a family member, a friend, or a colleague.

You do not need to attend as a couple.

Day 2 - workshop

The Path of Kindness to Yourself - (Not Just) Needbased Eating

December 12, 2025     The Path of Kindness to Yourself - (Not Just) Needbased Eating

How to develop empathy for yourself, your body, and your daily decisions.

Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is an approach that helps us understand what is happening within us and respond with understanding instead of self-criticism.

Liv Larsson's workshop is an invitation to a gentle, nonviolent approach to oneself. You'll learn how to stop judging yourself, how to recognize what your body truly needs, and how to transform ingrained habits into a healthier and kinder version of yourself.

And most importantly – how to allow yourself to live a life that is joyful, balanced, free, and healthy.

The workshop is for anyone who:

- wants to better understand themselves, their body, and emotions,

- seeks a kinder approach to themselves instead of self-criticism,

- is interested in health and balance in eating and lifestyle habits,

- wants to learn about the principles of Nonviolent Communication and how to apply them in personal life,

- already knows NVC and wants to go deeper into the area of self-empathy and the relationship to needs, the body, and food

Please note: Capacity for this workshop is limited to a maximum of 50 participants.
